Arfa fell badly ill last
month and suffering from brain damage, idiopathic epilepsy seizures
which led to brain damage leaving her in a coma at the Combined Military
Hospital (CMH) in Lahore. Arfa emerged the youngest Microsoft
professional after completing her MCP in 2004 at the age of only 9.
Upon finishing her course, Microsoft owner Bill Gates invited her to visit the company’s headquarters in the US. Arfa was studying at the Lahore Grammar School`s Paragon Campus for her A Levels. She also received numerous awards and gold medals. She received the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal in the field of science and technology in 2005, besides the Salaam Pakistan Youth Award.

Asia’s largest cattle market that is located at Sohrab Goth-super highway in Karachi(Pakistan) .Like every year this year also billions of sacrificing animals are for sell on the occasion of Eid Ul Adha. But this time due to floods the traders are few as 300,000 animals were dead due to heavy floods in Sindh. The 1,000-acre Super Highway market can house 200,000 animals. With previous year the trading are limited but hopefully near Eid it trading increases. For security purpose CCTV cameras are installed. Minimum price of goats is Rs12000, for cows Rs30000 and camels Rs70000 (prices may vary with time). All traders are subjected to pay tax for the place they occupied. VIP tents are soon to come with amazing rates and amazing animals. Booking starts on their official websites.

The record breaking attempt was organised online using Facebook and Twitter and even included a last minute tweeting frenzy as the record-attempt faced failure of falling short of a few hundred people.
In the end, the required number of people gathered at the spot and as the clock struck 12, the jubilant crowd started singing the national anthem “Pak sar zameen” to mark Pakistan’s 64th independence day and set a new world record.

5,857 people gathered at a stadium in Khadda market area of Karachi and beat the previous record of 5,248, achieved by students, staff, faculty and alumni of MSU-IIT (Philippines) who sang ‘Lupang Hinirang’ Philippines’ National Anthem, at the MSU-IIT gymnasium, in Iligan, Philippines, on 1 September 2009.
