Details about the massive love fiesta have trickled out in the weeks leading up to Kardashian’s wedding. Below, a taste of what’s to come as America’s reality TV princess ties the knot.
1.
A wedding cake just like Will and Kate’s.
A source close to Kardashian told Us Weekly that the bride-to-be wants a wedding cake fit for royalty. The reported 10-tier white cake with chocolate-chip icing and black-and-white decorations will resemble the traditional multitiered fruitcake that the Duke and Duchess cut into on April 29. According to Us Weekly, Kardashian’s cake costs between $15,000 and $20,000 and is being designed by Hansen’s Cakes in Los Angeles. Asked about the report, a representative for Hansen’s told ABCNews.com, “We can’t comment on that.”
2.
A dress by Vera Wang.
Last week, Kardashian revealed on her blog that famed designer Vera Wang is crafting her gown for the big day. “Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years, so when it came to picking my wedding dress designer she was the first person I thought of,” she wrote. No word yet on whether Kadashian will go the Pippa Middleton route and highlight her assets.
3.
A scent by … herself.
Only eau de Kardashian is good enough for this celebrity’s big day. She’s releasing Love by Kim Kardashian, a limited-edition spin-off of her perfume, to celebrate her wedding. “I thought it would be fun to create a special fragrance that represents this special time in my life!,” she wrote on her blog last week. Those who want a bouquet of her wedding bliss better act quick. “We’ve only produced 1000 bottles… one for me to wear on my wedding day, 200 for my bridal shower, and 799 for you guys!,” she added.
4.
A 4-hour-long TV special.
For a woman made famous by her fervent fan base, a wedding just wouldn’t be complete without an audience. E!, the network home to all things Kardashian, will air a 4-hour-long, two installment special on Oct. 9 and 10 chronicling the wedding preparations along with the marquee event. The name: “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event.” If you can’t score an international live broadcast in the middle of a Friday, a 240-minute-long cable TV special will have to do.
