The fourth edition of the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted KBC, which has consistently topped the popularity chart among television shows, has been bested by Bigg Boss — although by an extremely narrow margin — thanks largely due to the interest generated by Anderson's entry into the show as well as the recent obscenity controversy.
What's significant is that KBC-4's viewership has not flagged; it stays constant at a TRP of 4.8. But Bigg Boss, on November 18, recorded a TRP of 4.9. The viewer was bowled over by the Baywatch girl performing to the Bollywood number 'dhak dhak karne laga'.
