Yesterday the TV sets were like idiot boxes but now, since the technology revolution has come, they are meant to be smart for us. They can now be connected to internet or Wi-Fi. Some TV sets have QWERTY remote controls. In 3 major display technologies we find smart facilities:
Liquid Crystal displays-Economical and picture quality is not vivid, they are lighter and consume less power than plasmas.
Light Emitting Diodes-liquid crystals backed by hundreds of light emitting diodes, they have better color contrast and are energy efficient.
Plasmas- produce sharpest colors, better view angles, consume most amount of energy than any other TV type.
